Base Salary
$180k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own technical strategy and execution for complex, high-value enterprise opportunities
- Advise CTOs, Heads of AI, and engineering leaders on long-term AI and LLM adoption strategies
- Architect and lead end-to-end solution design from discovery through pilots and productionization
- Drive alignment across Sales, Product, and Engineering to resolve technical and business challenges
- Define multi-phase Scopes of Work and translate ambiguous customer problems into scalable solutions
- Lead executive presentations, technical deep dives, workshops, and other customer engagements
- Influence Scale’s product roadmap using customer insights and feature recommendations
- Mentor Solutions Engineers and establish best practices for demos, pilots, and technical sales strategy
- Lead organizational initiatives to improve win rates, shorten sales cycles, and scale the Solutions Engineering function
Requirements
- Deep technical background and significant experience in customer-facing engineering roles such as pre-sales, forward-deployed, or post-sales engineering at enterprise scale
- Proven success owning and closing complex, multi-stakeholder technical deals with Fortune 500 or equivalent enterprises
- Strong systems thinking and architecture experience across cloud, data, and AI/ML systems
- Hands-on programming experience with Python, Java, or similar languages
- Experience advising executive stakeholders and communicating with credibility at a senior level
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, influence without authority, and align diverse teams
- Exceptional communication skills across business, product, and technical audiences
- Preferred experience with generative AI and LLM applications in enterprise environments
- Preferred background in forward-deployed engineering or building production-grade ML systems
- Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, insurance, or healthcare is preferred
