Responsibilities
- Develop compute abstractions for Databricks workloads.
- Design workload orchestration and scheduling systems.
- Scale fleet management systems for launching millions of VMs.
- Raise technical and operational standards through strong design practices.
- Lead cross-team initiatives across product and infrastructure areas.
Requirements
- BS (or higher) in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in designing large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Scala, Go, or C++.
- Experience with service-oriented architectures.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Track record of shipping infrastructure for mission-critical workloads.
