Base Salary

$168k - $224k/yr

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain high-quality product features across frontend and backend applications.
Own projects through the full lifecycle, from design to long-term maintenance.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to create clear technical plans.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code focused on simplicity and reliability.
Build user-facing experiences and APIs that function across various platforms.
Design systems with observability and reliability, including metrics and health checks.
Improve performance, scalability, and resilience of products and systems.
Identify technical risks and dependencies proactively.
Contribute to design reviews and technical discussions.
Mentor less-experienced engineers through code reviews and guidance.
Enhance engineering culture by sharing knowledge and improving standards.
Utilize AI tools to enhance development and workflow efficiency.

5+ years of software engineering experience with production systems.
Strong fundamentals in software engineering with experience in frontend and backend systems.
Experience building reliable APIs and user-facing applications.
Solid understanding of databases and data modeling.
Experience with modern web application patterns.
Ability to manage projects with ambiguity and make sound technical decisions.
Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration skills.
Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven track record of mentoring teammates.
Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools.
B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
