Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own small, well-bounded projects end-to-end with guidance.
- Build and maintain features within ingestion and reconciliation pipelines.
- Contribute to tooling for end-to-end traceability of money.
- Develop accurate and user-friendly reporting and reconciliation products.
- Produce standardized journals and summaries for accounting and audit.
- Support tax and regulatory reporting systems, including IRS information returns.
- Handle sensitive data with care, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Debug and escalate production issues with clear context.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and finance teams.
- Review peers' work and document learnings for team reuse.
- Improve systems by automating manual processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software or data engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Experience with batch- or event-driven data pipelines.
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language and SQL.
- Experience delivering well-scoped projects end-to-end.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration and debugging.
- Care for engineering quality in a high-stakes environment.
- Proficiency in using AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
