Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain iOS, Android, and web wallet clients for credential storage, management, issuance, and presentation.
- Implement W3C Verifiable Credentials, Decentralized Identifiers, SD-JWT VC, mdoc, and ISO 18013-5 capabilities.
- Use secure hardware and cryptographic storage APIs to bind credentials and keys to device hardware.
- Integrate wallet flows with passkeys, FIDO2, OIDC credential presentations, and relying-party verification systems.
- Design secure credential lifecycles covering issuance, binding, revocation, and presentation.
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and contribute to code reviews, documentation, CI/CD, technical-debt reduction, and shared components.
- Partner with Product, Design, Security, Identity Standards, and engineering teams on credential experiences and roadmap planning.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, design discussions, pairing, and secure client-development standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience with significant mobile or client-side focus.
- At least 1 year of daily experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
- At least 1 year of production mobile application development for iOS, Android, React Native, or Flutter with native module integration.
- Preferred experience with W3C Verifiable Credentials, Decentralized Identifiers, SD-JWT VC, mdoc, or ISO 18013-5 mobile driver’s licenses.
- Preferred experience independently owning and shipping complex features end-to-end.
- Preferred hands-on experience with iOS Secure Enclave, iOS Keychain, Android Keystore, Android StrongBox, or equivalent Trusted Execution Environment primitives.
- Preferred familiarity with cryptographic key generation, attestation, binding, rotation, and secure deletion in mobile contexts.
- Preferred experience building digital wallet applications and credential issuance and presentation flows.
- Preferred familiarity with passkeys, FIDO2, WebAuthn, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, OID4VP, or SIOP v2.
- Preferred familiarity with NIST SP 800-63 identity assurance levels and credential-binding and presentation security.
- Preferred experience with React or modern web frameworks and familiarity with mobile testing tools and automated testing frameworks.
- Preferred exposure to SIM/eSIM architecture, SIM Network Authentication, carrier authentication primitives, SS7/Diameter security, and cellular identity attack surfaces.
- Startup or high-growth company experience and a strong execution and ownership orientation are preferred.
