Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Profile, debug, and enhance the RCS protocol stack and client-side architecture.
- Design and develop software solutions, including systems supporting massive concurrency and global network interoperability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to integrate cross-platform video streaming and advanced media codec features.
- Optimize low-level performance, reduce latency, and improve throughput.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while maintaining and enhancing software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience working with algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis, and software design.
- Experience with Android system-level development or application framework design.
- Preferred: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience with real-time communication technologies and telecommunication standards such as SIP and MSRP.
- Preferred: knowledge of DTLS, MLS, and end-to-end encryption.
- Preferred: experience building distributed systems and backend services, with familiarity with gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
