Base Salary

$45k - $76k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases to validate system functionality and verify business and user requirements.
  • Manually execute tests and run automated test scripts according to written procedures.
  • Contribute to test automation using Python, MATLAB, or C++.
  • Document test results and prepare test reports.
  • Record and track defects using a bug-tracking system.
  • Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to support product quality.
  • Interact with electronic equipment in the laboratory while performing testing.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in computer science, biomedical engineering, or physics, with expected graduation in fall/winter 2027 or spring 2028.
  • Available for the full internship program from May 17 through August 6, 2027, or May 24 through August 13, 2027.
  • Proficient in Python or MATLAB.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future for employment-based work authorization.
  • Prior software testing experience is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of C++ is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, report-writing, documentation, organizational, attention-to-detail, learning, adaptability, independent-work, and collaboration skills are preferred.
  • Reliable transportation to and from 309 Waverley Oaks Road, Waltham, Massachusetts is required.
