Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases for software components including user interfaces, algorithms, and back-end data handling.
- Manually execute tests and run automated test scripts according to written procedures.
- Validate system functionality and verify business and user requirements in the electrophysiology domain.
- Document test results and prepare test reports.
- Record and track defects using a bug-tracking system.
- Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to support product quality.
- Interact with electronic equipment in the laboratory and contribute to test automation efforts.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree in computer science, biomedical engineering, or physics, with an expected graduation date in fall/winter 2027 or spring 2030.
- Available for the full co-op program from May 17 or May 24 through December 17, 2027.
- Proficient in Python or MATLAB.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization.
- Prior software testing experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of C++ is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication, report-writing, documentation, attention to detail, organization, adaptability, and independent and collaborative working skills are preferred.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Waltham, Massachusetts work location is required.
