Responsibilities
- Design, code, deploy, and enhance scalable custom software solutions across systems and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Maintain and improve existing software by identifying opportunities for modification and enhancement.
- Optimize code for performance and maintainability in complex systems.
- Participate independently in team discussions, provide solutions to work-related problems, and serve as a subject matter expert.
- Share knowledge with and guide junior team members on software engineering best practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Minimum 15 years of full-time education.
- Experience developing and deploying scalable software solutions using modern development frameworks.
- Strong understanding of data processing and analytics in cloud-based environments.
- Ability to optimize code for performance and maintainability in complex systems.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools, agile software development lifecycle practices, and collaborative tools.
- Experience with Genie and Terraform is beneficial.
