Responsibilities
- Build and evolve reusable Java and Spring Boot platform capabilities for thousands of internal applications.
- Own features end to end from design and development through automated testing, deployment, production operations, and support.
- Develop and improve build and deployment automation using Maven, Jenkins, Tekton, and Git.
- Build and operate cloud-native platform capabilities using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Improve developer experience through automation, self-service capabilities, and intuitive frameworks.
- Build scalable and reliable platform services while improving observability, vulnerability management, security, and operational excellence.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI to developer productivity and platform engineering challenges.
- Collaborate with engineering teams in the United States and other locations on platform roadmap priorities.
Requirements
- Require 4–7 years of professional software development experience with Java.
- Require strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Maven, REST APIs, and Git.
- Require experience designing reusable frameworks, developer platforms, infrastructure tooling, or shared engineering capabilities.
- Require understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
- Require hands-on experience with CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins and Tekton.
- Require experience with Docker, Kubernetes, automation, and cloud-native environments.
- Require ownership of building, testing, deploying, operating, and supporting developed software.
- Value a developer-first mindset and passion for improving developer experience and engineering productivity.
- Require strong collaboration and communication skills across teams and geographies.
