Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for code, build, CI/CD platforms, and developer tooling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate developer tooling and AI-assisted productivity flows.
- Become a subject matter expert in developer tooling domains.
- Mentor team engineers and enhance overall technical capabilities.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and data-driven improvements.
- Build strong relationships with coworkers and cross-organizational teams.
- Implement and influence the adoption of developer tooling best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Experience in cloud environments (AWS) and using containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Expertise in build systems for JVM ecosystem, AI-assisted developer tools, and CI/CD systems.
- Proven coding skills in Java, Kotlin, or Python with infrastructure automation experience.
- Strong problem-solving and programming fundamentals.
- Understanding of software design principles and distributed systems architecture.
- Ability to independently manage and own project deliverables.
- Experience with AI tools like Cursor or Claude Code is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
