Base Salary
$204k - $299k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build web and mobile frontends, APIs, backend services, and data pipelines for AI-powered DoorDash products.
- Own major product and engineering initiatives from prototyping through production.
- Partner with researchers to turn AI agent prototypes into polished, reliable user-facing features.
- Build internal tools that accelerate experimentation and iteration.
- Design systems capable of supporting real-world traffic with strong reliability and performance.
- Ship features quickly and iterate based on real-world usage.
- Collaborate across product, design, and research.
Requirements
- Strong full stack engineering experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React and TypeScript.
- Backend development experience with Python, Go, Kotlin, or Java.
- Experience designing and shipping production systems involving APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience shipping and iterating on user-facing products.
- Interest in AI and familiarity with integrating LLMs or AI APIs into products.
- Prior AI agent or machine learning experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to connect product, design, and research perspectives.
