Responsibilities
- Design and further develop scalable and maintainable software architectures.
- Design and implement sophisticated software components hands-on.
- Define and enforce architectural principles, technical standards, and guidelines.
- Take technical responsibility for architectural decisions throughout the software lifecycle.
- Select and evaluate technologies, frameworks, and architectural concepts.
- Conduct code and architecture reviews and identify technical risks and optimization opportunities.
- Ensure software quality, performance, security, and long-term maintainability.
- Support development teams with complex technical challenges and share technical expertise.
- Collaborate with software developers, Product Owners, and other technical stakeholders to develop software for X-ray diffraction and material analysis solutions.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in software development, software design, and/or software architecture.
- Strong knowledge of modern architectural concepts, design patterns, and software engineering principles.
- Strong hands-on programming skills, ideally in C#/.NET.
- Experience designing and implementing complex software solutions.
- Experience with modern development processes, APIs, databases, and CI/CD.
- Strong commitment to quality and an analytical, solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Very good written and spoken German and English.
