Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation solutions to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code templates for consistent network configurations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into scalable automated processes.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of automation projects from conception through deployment.
- Build and maintain an automation framework supporting self-service capabilities.
- Conduct pre-release and post-release testing to ensure service reliability.
- Document automation processes and maintain version control for reproducible infrastructure.
- Research emerging technologies and uphold coding standards across the automation space.
- Perform quality assurance on prospective code to ensure adherence to best practices.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL for automated processes, APIs, and frontend tooling.
- Expertise in TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewall configurations, content delivery technologies, load balancing, caching, and cloud-based services.
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with Ansible, Jenkins, and Git.
- Proven ability to manage change and version control systems.
- Seasoned professional with technical leadership, innovation, infrastructure, network engineering, and software development expertise.
