Responsibilities
- Optimize and refine existing frontend code and features.
- Implement incremental UX/UI improvements from detailed design specifications.
- Work autonomously with minimal code review.
- Collaborate with Product Designers, Design Engineers, and Frontend Engineers.
- Deliver high-impact improvements to product quality and user experience.
- Clean up and improve legacy code.
- Own incremental UX/UI improvements to existing features and code within the Product Design pod.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with React, TypeScript, Next.js, and modern frontend technologies.
- Exceptional ability to write clean, maintainable, trustworthy code requiring minimal review.
- Strong execution and ability to ship quickly and effectively.
- Ability to own features end-to-end with minimal supervision.
- Accountability, autonomy, pragmatism, and willingness to handle detail-oriented iterative work.
- Ability to contribute technical expertise and teach others.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS is preferred.
- Understanding of UI fundamentals is preferred, but design skills are not required.
- Experience cleaning up and optimizing existing codebases is preferred.
- Comfort working across the technology stack when needed is preferred.
