Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain security solutions, protocols, algorithms, and software applications that protect sensitive systems and data.
- Manage and protect secrets by ensuring they are securely generated, stored, and used.
- Audit infrastructure and software to identify and assess vulnerabilities and support responses to potential security breaches.
- Develop and maintain Identity and Access Management solutions and systems.
- Engineer technical solutions across security domains and deliver solutions for SecOps business requirements.
- Provide Level 3 engineering expertise and collaborate with global infrastructure and security teams on service enhancements and upgrades.
- Evaluate and support the adoption of new cryptographic technologies and techniques.
- Create accurate, high-quality documentation for services consumed by internal teams.
- Advise stakeholders on security risks, controls, requirements, and strategic technical decisions.
Requirements
- Strong foundational knowledge of at least one security domain, such as vulnerability management, endpoint security, or data security.
- Strong knowledge of data storage technologies including NetApp and Isilon/PowerScale, with experience integrating them with data security scanning tools.
- Strong understanding of security network architectures, including firewalls, DMZs, proxies, DNS, web servers, mail servers, and networking principles.
- Career-proven experience supporting or leading enterprise-scale security services, preferably in a regulated environment.
- Ability to collaborate with security engineers, infrastructure teams, delivery leads, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to design suitable solutions, challenge requirements where appropriate, and adapt to changing information security technologies.
- Capabilities in risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, and relevant technical skills.
