Base Salary
$130k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build well-tested and secure frontend and backend functionality for Glide’s core web product.
- Create simple, reliable, and performant user interfaces.
- Design scalable architecture capable of serving hundreds of thousands of end users.
- Translate designs into polished production code.
- Define long-term technical direction for maintaining and scaling the web product suite.
- Lead frontend and backend infrastructure and tooling for the product roadmap.
- Contribute across architecture, design, technical specification, implementation, testing, and delivery.
Requirements
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Next.js.
- Experience with modern responsive HTML and CSS.
- Experience with data-fetching libraries such as React Query, TanStack, or tRPC.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, architecture, test-driven development, and component libraries.
- Strong understanding of software security and building secure systems.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD, version control, and DevOps tools such as Amazon Web Services, Git, and Docker.
- Experience working in agile development teams.
- Two to five years of full-time software engineering experience is preferred.
- Ability or desire to own a product end-to-end from conception through delivery is preferred.
