Responsibilities
- Administer and support SimCorp Data Management and Cloud SaaS environments for internal and external clients.
- Build and manage cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Apply operating system, database, and infrastructure patches according to current standards.
- Conduct proof-of-concept evaluations with Cloud Services Architects.
- Develop and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for builds, deployments, and integrations.
- Create automation scripts using PowerShell and Python.
- Streamline release and deployment processes for reliable delivery.
- Implement monitoring and alerting for Azure services and infrastructure.
- Manage incidents, problems, and changes in alignment with SRE practices.
- Participate in disaster recovery, business continuity, and annual VAPT exercises.
- Produce operational metrics and reports supporting SOC2 and other regulatory compliance requirements.
- Maintain security and high availability across environments.
- Collaborate with development, operations, peers, stakeholders, and clients to resolve technical issues and improve service quality.
- Document processes, configurations, and procedures.
- Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge.
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or cloud operations.
- Extensive experience with Azure services, Azure DevOps pipelines, and automation tools.
- Practical Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Proficiency in PowerShell or Python scripting.
- Strong understanding of monitoring, alerting, and incident management.
- Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks such as SOC2.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.
- 5+ years of experience managing cloud applications in the financial sector.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure services including Active Directory, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Key Vault, Citrix, Oracle Container PDB, Functions, Monitoring, Insights, and Billing.
- Extensive Windows and Linux server administration experience, including Oracle administration, PL/SQL, XML, and virtualization with VMware or Citrix.
- Experience with Azure pipelines, PowerShell, Python, AWS Lambda, and Azure scripting.
- Experience creating infrastructure and deploying applications with Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience developing deployment pipelines and associated tooling.
- Knowledge of IT systems administration, IT security operations, and financial data management.
- Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Grafana.
- ITIL and ITOps experience in an agile environment.
- Strong communication, teamwork, presentation, listening, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including client-facing communication.
