Base Salary
$20k - $30k/yr
Responsibilities
- Travel to DISCOM sites across India to understand their data landscape and operational pain points.
- Acquire, clean, and structure large-scale operational datasets from various sources.
- Partner with ML and engineering teams to tune and deploy models for various analyses.
- Architect and ship cloud-native data pipelines on GCP for model production.
- Work with utility leadership on procurement, compliance, and deployment.
- Identify product gaps from the field and communicate them to the engineering team.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, computer science, or a quantitative discipline.
- Strong programming fundamentals in Python and familiarity with SQL and data manipulation libraries.
- Experience with large, messy datasets and the ability to troubleshoot data issues.
- Comfort with cloud infrastructure (GCP or AWS) and modern data tooling.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel within India to DISCOM offices at short notice.
- A bias toward ownership and the ability to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with AI tools.
