Responsibilities
- Develop new platform capabilities and product offerings from design to launch.
- Balance speed to market with long-term growth through forward-thinking design.
- Collaborate with product teams to define initiatives and create a roadmap.
- Ensure system availability and reliability through on-call support and proactive measures.
- Mentor engineers across the organization.
- Engage in continuous improvement discussions and presentations.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in English is mandatory.
- Over 3 years of backend software development experience, preferably with Ruby, Golang, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including databases and algorithms.
- Experience in domain modeling, object design, and system architecture.
- Proven ability to write clear, tested, and concise code.
- Capability to set expectations and make informed decisions based on project estimates.
- Ability to draft and review technical proposals with constructive feedback.
- Strong sense of responsibility throughout the development lifecycle.
- Desire to collaborate and share knowledge within the team and organization.
- Enthusiasm for learning and innovating in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model in Santiago, Chile.
