Responsibilities
- Design test plans and write and execute functional and performance test cases.
- Design and implement automated test scripts and integrated automated test cases using Playwright with TypeScript.
- Work with scrum teams on planning, estimating, user-story verification, and acceptance criteria.
- Transform manual test cases into automated test cases and collaborate with manual testers.
- Develop or support API test frameworks and perform defect analysis, tracking, documentation, and reporting.
- Communicate testing status, metrics, and issues and create high-quality test summary reports.
- Build expertise in assigned product domains, understand product strengths and weaknesses, and advocate for customer issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a science-based discipline.
- At least 7 years of experience qualifying high-volume, scalable enterprise software.
- At least 5 years of experience with an automation tool such as Playwright, TestComplete, or Selenium.
- Experience with Playwright and Selenium for UI automation and with transforming manual tests into automated tests.
- Strong knowledge of QA lifecycles, methodologies, best practices, test case management, bug tracking, defect analysis, and reporting.
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with databases and data platforms; experience testing systems at large scale is a plus.
- Experience developing API test frameworks and development experience with Java, .NET, or TypeScript.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and communicating effectively in written and verbal English.
- Strong troubleshooting, attention to detail, independent-thinking, learning, teamwork, and quality advocacy skills.
