Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure, scalable, and maintainable software applications using C#/.NET and WPF with MVVM.
- Create high-level and low-level designs aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Architect, develop, and support REST APIs, web services, and microservice-based solutions.
- Apply secure coding practices, cybersecurity standards, software architecture principles, and scalable design approaches.
- Establish coding standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Develop and maintain automated unit tests using NUnit or MSTest.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve development efficiency, code quality, and testing effectiveness.
- Support software lifecycle management using Azure DevOps, Git, TFS, or similar platforms.
- Drive improvements in software quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Participate in technical design reviews, architecture reviews, knowledge sharing, and engineering quality initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in C#/.NET application development and hands-on experience with WPF and MVVM.
- Experience with software design principles including SOLID and KISS.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs, web services, and microservices.
- Knowledge of software architecture and scalable application design.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency with source control and collaboration tools such as Git or TFS.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or equivalent application lifecycle management platforms.
- Knowledge of automated unit testing frameworks such as NUnit or MSTest.
- Understanding of secure software development practices, secure SDLC methodologies, OWASP guidelines, and vulnerability management.
- Experience using AI-powered development tools to improve software engineering productivity.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with Modbus, HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, Profibus, and TCP/IP.
- Preferred experience designing solutions for industrial automation, process control, or related domains.
- Preferred knowledge of cloud-native application architectures and distributed systems.
- Preferred experience with .NET MAUI and/or Flutter for cross-platform application development.
- Preferred experience leading technical design discussions, architecture reviews, engineering quality initiatives, and mentoring engineers.
