Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a global suite of finance and markets applications.
- Perform analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and production support across the application development lifecycle.
- Gather and document requirements and determine solutions with internal technology teams and business stakeholders.
- Coordinate global testing and application rollout schedules.
- Provide L3 support for production flows and user and operational support to business users.
- Improve DevOps CI/CD pipelines, operating standards, security measures, and strategic architecture.
- Analyze complex application and business-process issues and recommend solutions.
- Support key business initiatives involving multiple workstreams and collaborate with distributed global teams.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to newer or lower-level analysts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or substantial practical experience in software delivery.
- At least 7 years of relevant application development experience.
- Strong core Java, JDBC/JPA, and RESTful web services experience.
- Experience with Hibernate, JUnit, Spring Boot, event-driven and API-led architectures, and distributed software applications.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with Maven or Gradle, Jenkins, and UDeploy.
- Experience with cloud-based architectures on OpenShift Kubernetes.
- Strong Unix or Linux experience.
- Experience using AI tools and platforms to design, build, test, and enhance application features.
- Experience with successful project implementation, distributed global teams, production support, and testing.
- Kafka and GemFire/Ignite experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, organizational, ownership, and independent-working skills.
