Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions for Ring and Blink services.
- Design and build distributed software systems on AWS that are scalable, fault-tolerant, easy to use, and manageable.
- Lead architecture and design decisions involving design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists to identify and solve complex problems.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and contribute to team growth.
- Lead operational efforts and uphold software design and programming best practices.
Requirements
- Professional, non-internship software development experience.
- Programming experience in at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design experience.
- Experience leading the architecture and design of new and existing systems.
- Experience building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers.
- Solid knowledge of machine-learning algorithms and techniques.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering-team leader.
- Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred.
- Preferred experience includes the full software development lifecycle, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred experience with transformer architectures, inference optimization techniques, and large language models.
Benefits
- Minimum gross base salary of 28,866.67 PLN monthly for full-time work in Gdansk or Warsaw, with part-time hours prorated; compensation figures are excluded from benefits classification.
