Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Python, PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium, and shell scripting.
- Perform manual and automated testing of telecom, networking, broadband, NMS, and EMS products.
- Validate TCP/IP, VLAN, DHCP, PPPoE, LACP, IGMP, and TR-069 networking protocols.
- Test device-management interfaces and protocols including CLI, SNMP, NETCONF, and REST APIs.
- Execute functional, integration, interoperability, regression, performance, load, scalability, and stability testing.
- Support CI/CD-driven testing and release qualification using Jenkins, Git, and related tools.
- Test broadband technologies including DSL, VDSL, GPON, XGS-PON, OLT, ONT, and G.fast.
- Investigate customer issues, perform root-cause analysis, validate fixes, and ensure product quality.
- Use Wireshark, Spirent, and IXIA for network analysis and traffic generation.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in telecom, networking, or broadband product testing.
- Strong understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking protocols and network-validation methodologies.
- Proven experience developing test-automation frameworks and Python-based scripts.
- Hands-on experience with NMS/EMS platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile and CI/CD environments.
- Exposure to virtualization and cloud-based test environments is a plus.
- B.E./B.Tech. qualification; M.E./M.Tech. is preferred.
