- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Create and execute end-to-end, regression, functional, and integration test scenarios.
- Perform API testing for RESTful APIs, including request and response validation, status codes, headers, authentication, and data.
- Validate React frontend applications for functionality, usability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
- Execute automated and manual test cases based on project requirements.
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
- Analyze test failures, troubleshoot issues, and work with developers to resolve defects.
- Perform regression testing for new features, enhancements, and production fixes.
- Validate application behavior across browsers and environments.
- Work with AWS-hosted applications and troubleshoot testing and environment issues.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, business analysts, and other QA engineers.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, requirement analysis, and sprint ceremonies.
- Improve automation coverage, test reliability, and QA processes.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in software testing, QA automation, or SDET roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of web application and end-to-end testing concepts.
- Experience testing applications built with React.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript for automation scripting.
- Working knowledge of AWS and cloud-based application environments.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- MCA, B.E., B.Tech., or M.Tech. qualification.
- Experience with HR, HRMS, HCM, payroll, recruitment, employee management, or other HR platforms is highly preferred.
