Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines for rapid and safe software deployment.
- Script and code in multiple languages to orchestrate infrastructure and support robust testing.
- Implement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Monitor and optimise system performance.
- Identify root causes, solve technical problems, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old before the September 2027 start date.
- Have the right to live and work in England for the full programme duration and meet the stated UK or EEA residency requirement.
- Have five GCSEs at grades 4-9 or equivalent, including Maths and English, plus an A Level or BTEC Diploma in STEM, Level 3 IT apprenticeship, or Digital T-Level at Pass level.
- Be a UK national and able to obtain UK Government Security Clearance.
- Not be enrolled in a qualifying UK government-funded course ending August 2027 or later and not already hold a similar or higher-level qualification.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for technology, analytical problem-solving ability, interest in coding or scripting such as Python, and willingness to learn.
- Preferred qualifications include self-directed learning through courses or projects, interest in cloud technologies, proactive automation skills, and strong collaboration and communication abilities.
