Base Salary
$68k - $193k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient backend services using Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem.
- Build responsive web interfaces using Angular and React.
- Architect and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices for high availability and low latency.
- Implement business logic, data models, and optimized PostgreSQL schemas and queries.
- Write maintainable, documented code and contribute through code reviews, unit testing, and technical documentation.
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Package and orchestrate applications using Docker.
- Automate environment provisioning and configuration using Terraform or GCP Cloud Deployment Manager.
- Configure logging, tracing, monitoring, and alerting with Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and foster continuous learning.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and architects to implement business goals.
- Participate in and lead Agile ceremonies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- 6+ years of professional software development experience with Java.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
- 6+ years of experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- 6+ years of proficiency with PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Preferred qualifications include production experience with single-page applications using React or Angular.
- Preferred qualifications include Google Cloud certification.
- Preferred qualifications include GitOps, container security scanning, Tekton, ArgoCD, Test-Driven Development, pair programming, continuous integration, Apache Kafka, or GCP Pub/Sub experience.

- Base salary range of $68,300-$192,900; final salary grade and placement depend on skills, experience, scope, responsibility, and market value.
