Responsibilities
- Build scalable, AI-enabled product capabilities across frontend and backend systems.
- Develop UI features using TypeScript, Angular, advanced JavaScript, modular JavaScript, and modern frontend build processes.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and Python in Linux/UNIX environments.
- Develop complex SQL queries and optimize relational database performance, schemas, indexes, and stored procedures.
- Apply unit testing, code reviews, source control, automated testing, documentation, and other software engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, UX, QA, Account Management, and backend platform teams.
- Use AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and Cursor for coding, debugging, documentation, and automation.
- Support AI-enabled workflows including prompt engineering, RAG, agentic AI, and model fine-tuning.
- Contribute to deployment architecture, monitoring, CI/CD, operational reliability, and engineering productivity.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software development experience and at least 3 years of UI development experience with Angular 15 or later.
- At least 3 years of experience with design patterns, modular JavaScript, ES6, frontend debugging, and frontend build processes.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, such as Computer Science or Information Technology, or an equivalent degree.
- Experience with Node.js, Python, JavaScript frameworks, backend API development, REST API design, SQL, and relational databases.
- Strong understanding of data structures, object-oriented programming concepts, web application performance, scalability, and security.
- Hands-on UI and backend unit testing experience.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum practices and the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience with large-scale deployment architectures, monitoring, CI/CD, and AI-assisted coding and automation workflows.
- Understanding of prompt engineering, LLM usage, RAG, agentic AI, and model fine-tuning is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, operational, and project management skills; customer engineering escalation experience is preferred.
