Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, operate, and maintain secure cloud products and services.
- Automate security vulnerability mitigation, triage vulnerabilities, and plan mitigation activities including OS patching.
- Coordinate with cloud and DevOps engineers to help tenants realize value through product offerings and operations.
- Establish system information requirements for enterprise-wide and large-scale information systems.
- Design system architectures covering software, hardware, and communications infrastructure.
- Ensure architectures comply with OSI, ISO, IEEE Open Systems Environment, and other applicable standards.
- Develop and maintain information management solutions across application platforms, APIs, and external software environments.
- Align the common operating environment with agency enterprise architecture requirements and reference models.
- Analyze workflow, organizational, and planning challenges and develop corrective actions and process improvements.
- Provide daily supervision, guidance, and direction to assigned staff.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of IT experience with relevant DevOps and software development experience.
- Experience analyzing user needs, defining functional requirements, and supporting complex information systems.
- Understanding of DevOps, source control, build automation, and deployment automation.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, or comparable technologies.
- Experience supporting cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with systems architecture, networking, and software lifecycle management.
- Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Shell, CloudFormation, Groovy, Go, or similar technologies.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to undergo the government-issued background investigation process.
