Responsibilities
- Develop and extend in-house testing automation tools and test frameworks.
- Define QA processes and procedures, identify bugs and issues, and maintain testing documentation.
- Create, maintain, and execute automated tests across functional, regression, integration, load, and stress testing activities.
- Manage test issues, risks, environments, bug fixes, and release-management activities.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, architects, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and distributed delivery teams throughout the development cycle.
- Help define architectural roadmaps and solution designs and facilitate integration between teams for production releases.
- Structure program delivery into epics and user stories and support process improvement.
- Organize and lead the QA Issuance team, motivate team members, and foster a quality-focused culture.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with UI web front-end automation tools and testing.
- Hands-on experience with REST API testing tools, Gherkin/Cucumber, and CI/CD tool integrations.
- Experience with development platforms such as BitBucket and GitHub, and with Artifactory.
- Strong technical vision and hands-on experience in software development and test automation.
- Experience delivering results in matrixed organizations under pressure and tight timescales.
- Experience with test issue and risk management.
- Experience working with Scrum practices and Agile software methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Prior experience in a hands-on leadership role.
- Experience with GCP or another cloud environment is desirable.
