Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements, data flows, and business logic.
- Contribute to test strategies, test plans, scenarios, effort estimates, and risk identification.
- Design, maintain, and execute test cases for data integrity, transformation logic, and reporting accuracy.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing, including Oracle database and database-object testing.
- Create test data, analyze results, document findings, and retest defect corrections.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and document defects in JIRA.
- Coordinate testing with internal teams, third-party vendors, and business users, including user acceptance testing activities.
- Organize monthly stakeholder demos and contribute to continuous improvement of development and testing processes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software testing, with experience ranging from 5-8 years and a focus on data-centric projects.
- Strong hands-on experience testing Oracle databases, including data integrity, database objects, and source-to-target validation.
- Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, validation, comparison, and anomaly detection.
- Experience with test automation, testing techniques, test management, and defect tracking tools.
- Proven experience with Agile methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Preferred experience in financial services, wealth management, or other financial products.
- Preferred experience coordinating user acceptance testing and an interest in cloud data platforms and related automation tools.
