Base Salary
$180k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define requirements, design architectures, and deliver resilient cloud-based software solutions and network integrations.
- Develop and optimize high-performance network applications and protocols using Go and Python.
- Design dataplane services, APIs, and data structures for network data processing.
- Perform system-level programming, networking, scripting, and troubleshooting in Linux environments.
- Analyze network performance, isolate bottlenecks, and drive system optimizations.
- Lead code reviews, testing, debugging, and architectural enhancements for reliability, scalability, and network efficiency.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience designing and developing software in distributed, enterprise-scale environments.
- Strong proficiency in Go for network data handling and processing.
- Deep expertise in Linux environments, system-level programming, networking concepts, scripting, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with SD-WAN technologies, VPNs, cloud security architectures, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
- In-depth understanding of L2–L7 networking, TCP/IP internals, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, traffic management protocols, and performance testing methodologies.
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions within the functional domain.
- Preferred: proficiency with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar AI code-assistance tools.
- Preferred: advanced hands-on experience with L3 tunneling protocols, SD-WAN implementations, and cloud networking architecture, design, and deployment.
- Preferred: track record of proposing architectural improvements to system reliability, scalability, and network efficiency.
