Responsibilities

  • Define the end-to-end architecture, data model, service and API contracts, and boundaries with data-producing tools and teams.
  • Make and document foundational technical decisions, including alternatives, evidence, trade-offs, and reversal criteria.
  • Build early services, APIs, deployment paths, and tooling hands-on so partner teams can begin development.
  • Define how automated analysis agents operate, including permitted queries, evidence relationships, cost constraints, and response-time limits.
  • Drive initial use cases with design partners, review performance diagnoses, mentor engineers, and establish engineering practices for the growing team.

Requirements

  • Experience with systems in which automated agents or models process large amounts of production data, including methods for evaluating result quality.
  • Practical knowledge of GPU and machine learning workload performance and the ability to assess performance diagnoses and evidence.
  • Experience designing APIs and data models that evolve without breaking existing users or deployments.
  • Hands-on ability to build and deploy services and tooling and independently verify results through tests and measurements.
  • Strong communication and team-alignment skills, including the ability to explain technical choices, trade-offs, and uncertainty without direct authority.
  • Proficiency with C++, Go, and Python.
  • Preferred experience includes developer tools, profilers, performance-analysis products, prototype-to-platform development, identity and access control, multi-tenant systems, SQL, TypeScript, and evaluation methods such as labeled cases, precision, recall, and abstention.
