Staff Innovation Engineer, Marketplace

Base Salary
$180k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build durable, reusable services for Marketplace products.
- Partner with customers to scope problems and ship new products within 30 days.
- Focus on quality and drive adoption for already launched products.
- Build and refine AI-driven systems for document processing and workflow automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and provide input on product strategy.
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to system design decisions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering with strong backend/distributed-systems fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience building and shipping products in a fast-iteration environment.
- Experience with multiple LLM providers and document-extraction tools.
- Familiarity with building agent harnesses and AI-integrated workflows.
- Data engineering or ML background is a strong plus.
- Comfortable working across the stack and collaborating closely with product teams.
