Responsibilities
- Develop complex software from functional specifications and design clear algorithms and implementation specifications.
- Conduct complex peer code reviews, assess the broader impact of changes, and influence technical direction.
- Create and apply automated and unit tests to verify software changes.
- Lead team standards, planning, estimation, solution demonstrations, reviews, and implementation design discussions.
- Investigate production and software-code escalations and implement standards supporting application stability and compliance.
- Mentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to team members while recommending process and documentation improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with significant experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages, including Java, C/C++, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, software design, continuous software delivery, and Windows/Linux development environments using open source tools and platforms.
- Experience with build environments, delivery pipelines, test automation, and continuous integration tools.
- Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
- Experience with .NET and Angular or React is preferred.
- Experience with software testing tools, methodologies, process frameworks, and delivery pipelines incorporating test automation, security, and performance is preferred.
- Experience mentoring junior developers and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture is preferred.
