Base Salary
$180k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Improve the quality of shipped agents through evaluation-driven iteration.
- Build new agent capabilities, tools, and surfaces on the Forward platform.
- Practice context engineering with a large, structured network model.
- Engineer clear and structured prompts, tool descriptions, and instructions.
- Define success criteria for agents completing complex tasks.
- Collaborate with network domain experts to build and validate evaluations.
Requirements
- 1 - 2 years of experience in AI engineering.
- Experience shipping features on top of LLMs with measurable outcomes.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript.
- Solid software engineering fundamentals and attention to detail.
- Ability to navigate and contribute to a large, unfamiliar codebase.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
