Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts in Java and/or JavaScript.
- Build test suites ahead of manual QA activity and development milestones.
- Create and maintain end-to-end, integration, and API-level tests for payment flows.
- Validate payment-specific scenarios through automation, including transactions and refunds.
- Integrate automated test suites into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous feedback.
- Collaborate with the QE Lead on coverage priorities and reporting.
- Document frameworks, coverage, and results for status reporting.
- Support automation coverage expansion for additional workstreams.
- Participate in end-to-end testing sessions and provide war room support during go-live.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on QA automation experience.
- Proficiency in Java and/or JavaScript for test automation frameworks.
- Strong API test automation skills for validating payment integrations.
- Experience with shift-left testing, building automation early in the cycle.
- CI/CD integration experience for continuous execution of test suites.
- Ability to work within a structured QA workstream and report to a QE Lead.
