Software Engineer II - C#/.NET and Java
JPMorgan ChaseResponsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, debug, and troubleshoot secure, high-quality software solutions across multiple technical areas.
- Maintain production code and algorithms while ensuring application design constraints, scalability, resiliency, and stability.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure the resulting software meets those constraints.
- Analyze and visualize large, diverse datasets to identify problems and patterns and improve coding hygiene, applications, and system architecture.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools for coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards.
- Contribute reusable AI-assisted engineering patterns and guide peers on responsible, secure, and effective usage.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Expertise developing with C#/.NET, including .NET Framework and/or .NET Core/.NET, and Java Spring Boot.
- Experience with ASP.NET, SQL Server, Oracle, and T-SQL.
- Working knowledge of private cloud platforms such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, operational stability, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating, validating, and refining generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI engineering practices, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, security expectations, and the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and additional private cloud technologies is preferred.
