Base Salary
$130k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor backend services and APIs using Go and Python.
- Build and maintain cloud-native services across AWS and GCP with a focus on reliability and security.
- Deliver features through the full software development lifecycle using CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Tackle complex software engineering problems in authentication and fraud prevention.
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities into scalable services by collaborating with various teams.
- Use observability tools to troubleshoot production issues and improve reliability.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver new capabilities and enhance existing ones.
- Participate in the team’s on-call rotation for customer-facing authentication platform.
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of professional software development experience building backend services and APIs.
- Strong experience with Go, Python, or similar languages, and a solid foundation in data structures and algorithms.
- Hands-on experience designing and operating cloud-native systems in AWS or GCP.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and production ownership.
- Experience in authentication, identity, or fraud prevention environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with observability tooling and production diagnostics is beneficial.
