Base Salary
$175k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain networking services infrastructure for GPU cloud services, including cloud networking services, host networking, smart NICs, and overlay and underlay networks.
- Collaborate with DevOps, system administrators, and cloud services teams to integrate network datapath solutions.
- Optimize host network performance, latency, and throughput for GPU-based workloads.
- Implement and maintain network security protocols and best practices.
- Build comprehensive monitoring and alerting into network services.
- Participate in on-call rotation and troubleshoot and resolve network-related incidents.
- Contribute to code reviews, design discussions, architecture decisions, and the network service roadmap.
- Track networking technologies and industry trends to improve infrastructure quality, scalability, reliability, and security.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience as a software engineer focused on networking and cloud infrastructure.
- Expertise in network protocols, routing, and security, including TCP/IP, BGP, and kernel networking.
- Proficiency in Golang, Python, or C++.
- Familiarity with software-defined networking and network virtualization technologies.
- Experience building and deploying Kubernetes networking infrastructure and CNIs.
- Experience with Kubernetes operators and controllers is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Commitment to staying current with emerging networking technologies and best practices.
- Eligibility to access export-controlled information under applicable U.S. Government regulations.
