Responsibilities
- Write, test, debug, and maintain software, particularly complex and critical components.
- Collaborate on project requirements, software specifications, design reviews, and code reviews.
- Provide technical expertise and subject-matter support to team efforts.
- Research and propose solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Troubleshoot production issues with operations and support teams.
- Help assess and adopt new technologies and software development practices.
- Mentor junior team members through guidance and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically 5+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role or relevant software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in one or more software languages and development methodologies.
- Strong programming, debugging, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to take ownership of complex technical challenges.
- Advanced degree, relevant certifications, or training are preferred.
