Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Golang infrastructure services.
- Work with Kubernetes operators to deliver cloud foundations.
- Collaborate with engineers to build the PaaS product.
- Ensure provisioning, availability, performance, and monitoring of the Confluent cloud.
- Influence architecture and operational design for large-scale systems.
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design and development.
- Good understanding of the Kubernetes ecosystem.
- Knowledge in building and operating large-scale systems.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, C++, or other statically typed languages.
- Experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
