Responsibilities
- Collaboratively design and implement reports and visualizations across Gusto’s product suite.
- Migrate reports from legacy infrastructure to the new reporting platform.
- Demonstrate work frequently to the team and broader engineering organization.
- Participate in support rotations and maintain a prioritized backlog of technical debt.
- Lead and mentor fellow engineers in tackling complex technical challenges.
- Prototype, iterate, and launch new features quickly and efficiently.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Highly proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of SaaS fundamentals and experience in building SaaS products.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical counterparts.
- Ability to quickly develop expertise in unfamiliar areas and technologies.
- Value breaking down problems and deploying work to production for iteration.
