Base Salary
$80k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, and support backend services using Python and FastAPI.
- Write CloudFormation scripts and Jenkins jobs and use GitHub Actions according to industry standards.
- Set up observability, monitoring metrics, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty, and AWS CloudWatch.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and separate stability testing.
- Develop and update functionality in collaboration with technical and non-technical business partners.
- Communicate with stakeholders within and outside the team.
- Help build a retail media platform supporting targeting, bidding, ad placement, and performance analytics.
Requirements
- Strong computer science background and familiarity with networking principles.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining high-load real-time services.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Hands-on experience setting up and improving CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in Python and server-side web service development.
- Understanding of API design principles.
- Experience setting up and managing observability tools and alerting systems.
- Familiarity with service-oriented architecture and communication protocols such as protobuf.
- Experience with NoSQL and relational databases, distributed systems, and caching solutions, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, or Athena.
- Experience with at least one major public cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams and excellent English communication skills.
- Previous experience building ad tech solutions is preferred.
