Base Salary

$130k - $195k/yr

Responsibilities

Assess AI-generated prototypes and decide whether to harden, rebuild, or redirect them, owning the outcome end-to-end.
Design, build, and ship secure and reliable services on Robinhood’s enterprise platforms.
Use AI agents for assessment, porting, and test scaffolding, and build MCP servers, sub-agents, and agent skills when appropriate.
Partner with Finance, HR, Legal, and Compliance teams to translate workflows into adopted software.
Provide operational handoffs including runbooks, evaluations, and dashboards.
Create reusable platform capabilities with the Enterprise Platforms team.
Review AI-generated code rigorously and improve engineering quality for AI-era development.

At least 3 years of software engineering experience building and operating production backend or full-stack systems.
Experience independently delivering high-ambiguity projects end-to-end.
Hands-on cloud expertise, preferably with GCP, including containerized services, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and serverless systems.
Experience building LLM-powered applications or agentic workflows and reviewing, hardening, and productionizing AI-generated code.
Strong product sense and scoping discipline for evaluating and completing prototype engagements.
Exceptional communication skills with non-engineering Finance, Legal, HR, or Compliance partners.
Experience in highly regulated industries, especially finance or fintech, is strongly preferred.
