Responsibilities
- Develop and contribute to Arco’s data platform.
- Collaborate with analytics engineers, data scientists, business analysts, and software engineers.
- Build scalable data solutions using programming languages, SQL, and distributed processing frameworks.
- Use containerization technologies and cloud solutions.
- Orchestrate workflows with tools such as Airflow, Luigi, DBT, or Dataform.
- Build data warehouse, data lake, or data lakehouse environments.
- Apply infrastructure-as-code practices using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Puppet.
Requirements
- Several years of experience working as a data engineer.
- Experience with at least one of Scala, Java, Python, or Go.
- Knowledge of SQL, algorithms, data structures, and application scalability.
- Experience with distributed processing frameworks.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of continuous integration, continuous development, and continuous testing.
- Experience orchestrating workflows with Airflow, Luigi, DBT, or Dataform.
- Knowledge of cloud solutions.
- Experience building data warehouses, data lakes, or data lakehouses is preferred.
- Experience building data platforms is preferred.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Puppet is preferred.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform tools is preferred.
