Base Salary
$125k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and evolution of the core C++ vehicle dynamics simulator.
- Architect and improve high-performance C++ Monte Carlo simulation infrastructure.
- Drive development of new simulation features and models in collaboration with users.
- Own performance optimization, profiling, and reliability improvements across the simulation stack.
- Design and implement new testing frameworks and visualization components.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to model multi-body physics and environmental effects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 1+ years of software development experience, or 4+ years of professional software development experience in performant C++ or numerical simulations.
- Expert-level C++ skills with a focus on performance and safety.
- Experience building or optimizing high-performance simulations or real-time systems.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with partner teams.
- Solid foundation in physics and mathematics, particularly dynamics and numerical methods.
- Proficiency in debugging, performance profiling, and continuous integration for C++ codebases.
