Responsibilities

  • Conduct and analyze manual and automated performance tests.
  • Write new automated performance tests and maintain the existing test suite.
  • Reproduce complex performance bugs and user-reported issues.
  • Configure performance test executions as part of continuous integration cycles.
  • Collaborate on functionality planning, incident investigation, and product releases.
  • Work with developers to recreate complex user scenarios and identify performance bottlenecks.

Requirements

  • Proven experience running and analyzing manual and automated performance tests.
  • Strong understanding of HTTP and TCP/IP protocols.
  • Proficiency with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
  • Experience testing web applications manually and through automation frameworks such as Selenium or Playwright.
  • Familiarity with issue trackers, version control systems, and CI/CD servers.
  • Comfort using command-line tools including Bash, grep, SSH, and curl.
  • Strong spoken and written English skills.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, REST API testing, or platform-specific performance monitoring tools such as top, htop, and perfmon is preferred.
