Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain multi-platform automated test scenarios across Linux, Windows, macOS, Docker, and WSL.
- Expand automated test coverage for new and existing functionality.
- Debug test failures, investigate execution results, and reduce test flakiness.
- Track quality metrics including test coverage, failure rate, and flakiness.
- Contribute product-specific extensions to test frameworks and tools.
- Participate in release quality assessments and define test strategies with QA engineers and developers.
- Perform manual QA activities and contribute to test documentation when needed.
- Improve domain-specific test infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines within the team’s scope.
- Share automation best practices and collaborate with the tooling team on new frameworks and practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in test automation.
- Solid programming skills in Kotlin or Java.
- Experience with test frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG.
- Familiarity with Maven or Gradle build tools.
- Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with TeamCity or similar CI/CD tools.
- Experience with Allure or other reporting tools.
- Version-control experience with Git.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Responsibility, self-discipline, self-learning ability, teamwork, and the ability to work independently and creatively.
- Experience testing developer tools, IDEs, or desktop applications is preferred.
- Familiarity with JVM frameworks such as Spring or Jakarta and with databases is preferred.
